I've never had a gig like the one I had tonight, and yeah okay I understand that i'm new to gigging but the response from my songs was beyond awesome. More than I ever expected or imagined. My first set went

And then I was asked up for a second shot later on so I did

Crazy. and loads of people cornered me asked me if I had an album out or had recorded anything I gave out little moo cards with my details on them and felt really overwhlemed. Seriously People were really happy and seemed to love what I sang and it made me feel giddy. Although part of that was my ticker ticking too fast. I shouldnt have gone out tonight shouldnt be putting my heart under additional stress until the docs can figure out whats wrong with it. But boy was it worth it tonight. I didn't even know I was going to be gigging until about 1pm this afternoon. I'm really glad I went.
Got invited to a new open mic night, a guy came up to me and gave me a bit of paper telling me to check the place out and that they'd like a girl like me to play. So yeah. I'm feeling pretty swish. Although I wasn't the best musician in the pub tonight, not by a long shot. I've got a long way to go before I can say i'm good at guitar playing, but on a weird note I bought a harmonica on ebay and the guy selling it lives not very far away from me and he also does guitar tuition so maybe i'll get a few lessons out of him which would rock, maybe i'll be a good guitarist yet
