The gig at Watford was awesome last night. Hit a few bad notes singing wise...okay notes that were particular off key and not on purpose. Also hit quite a few bad notes on the guitar but considering I can't really play I think people just took it as gospel that what I was doing was what I was supposed to be doing. Which suited me fine.
But the reception was fantastic. All my songs were really greatly received and it made me feel special...not speshul which is how I usually feel. I'm pretty pleased with myself, cause those that know me will know i'm not the most confident of people and a few years back I probably would have passed out at the simple notion of getting up and playing some songs infront of people. I just feel like this is what I was always supposed to be doing.
It doesn't matter if it doesn't make me money. Thats not what its about. Its about inflicting my singing on people, maybe someone will listen to the words and laugh, but mainly its just about having a good time
