Sammy. That's my name, although you may or may not know me by now as Jammiesammy. Just a girl, a girl with a guitar. Its pink at the moment which actually gives me extra special playing power. If I didn't have that then you'd all be in serious trouble. Not only is it pink but it also has STICKERS on it. Stickers from all walks of life, and if you ever see me and give me a new sticker then you'll be my best friend forever...or at least until someone else gives me a sticker.
This is what I look like. Yeah I know, not a pretty sight at the best of times, but I can assure you after a few pints I look much more attractive. Least thats how I figgured I came to snare my husband. I'm a bit ecclectic to say the least, but thats alright. Its okay to be different. I suck at fitting in so why bother, thats what I say.
I have a bit of a peter pan complex. Wheres the fun in growing up? Trick question because there isn't any, so I thought, hey lets just stay young at heart. This theory has paid off, in the fact that my shoe size is still a size 3 so I can wear those cool trainers that flash when you walk, and i'm only 5 foot tall so I get most of my clothes from the kids section. I also collect old cartoons on DVD, like Thundercats, Fingerbobs, Dungeons and Dragons and Bagpuss pleasure, because, lets face it, they don't make cartoons like they used to, although peppa pig isn't too bad.
So what brought me to write music, if thats what we're calling it. I'm not sure to be honest. I love the art of poetry and english literature and I find great in playing around with words so when I got a guitar for my christmas when I was 15, I taught myself a few chords and away I went really. I'm the daughter of a paratrooper so thats my excuse for some of my lyrics, as they can get colourful at times. I'm not the greatest singer, and will never be the best guitar player, but I get by on what I know and enjoy doing what I do.
